Y does the common man always suffer when there are strikes

Before u read the blog, lemme put a word of caution tat i m fed up of the political protests and demonstrations and i will be venting my anger by takin potshots at them or using cuss words at those faint hearted a**-holes who dont think by breaking a few windows, shouting slogans and bringing common person's life to a complete standstill they can get all thier demands met!
Today the petrol and diesel strike concluded but the truckers strike is still continuing and to make matters worse local transporters have also joined the national strike. Is there no other means of getting your demands met rather than blocking the supply of all commodities, perishable items rottening up, prices of vegetables soaring and important consignments being held at the mercy of those piyakkads. I dont know wat thier demand is and no matter how important and justified thier demand be that doesnt mean that u resort to things like this. A few days ago the railway motormen stopped all trains on the western line for 3-4 hours during rush hour to protest against low wages and long working hours. Their demands were met moreso coz there were thousands of people stranded and had no other means to travel to thier homes which was 35-50 km's away from thier place of work. Atleast those people were on the platforms, but stopping the trains on the railway tracks between two stations till the strike was over was insensitive. Senior citizen, pregnant women, small children and teenage gals happen to frequently travel in trains. Keeping the train stranded in between the stations left them no option but to either wait for them to start all over again or jump on the tracks and walk the entire stretch to the nearest exit, climb on the platform from the tracks and then use another mode of transport to travel. Who would had been responsible if some untoward incident had happened? Similarly in the past when MNS supporters protested the arrest of Raj Thackeray, a daily wage worker lost his life apart from a few bihari youths who were burtually beaten and later died at Kalyan. Raj easily washed his hands from the incident saying he didnt knew the MNS supporters and even later stated that the culprits were not MNS supporters and the bihari youths were not thrashed as a mark of protest but due to some altercation they had wid the assaulters. Raj if your conscience is so clean and you dont think you done anything wrong, why didnt you go and attend the court trial in Jamshedpur? Why did u plead for a trial in Mumbai.. Face it you anti-national S.O.B u r scared. Sirf apne ghar ke andar rehne se aadmi sher nahin ban jaata. If u have the balls step and face the trial there. U aint scared of the public outrage instead you know that even if the court sentences you to a death sentence there wont be any public outrage instead there would be public celebrations unlike Maharashtra where your local goons will break all hell loose just coz thier Saheb is made to spend one night in a jail.
